Emoluments Per Month: Rs 8,000/- (consolidated). Qualifications: Essential:MSc with specialization in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Molecular Biology & Biotechnology. Desirable: Experience in using molecular markers in crop plants, including field work. Proficiency in use of computers and MS-Office. Sub-Project Title: Pyramiding genes for resistance to polysora rust and turcicum leaf blight. (Initial appointment shall be for one year). Qualifications: Essential: MSc with specialization in Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Molecular Biology & Biotechnology. Qualfications: Essential: MSc in Biosciences/ Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/ Ag Botany / (MSc Ag) in Genetics and Plant Breeding with experience in DNA techniques and use of molecular markers in crop improvement. Desirable: Experience in Genetics and Plant Bredding with special reference to Rice and working knowledge of computer. Sponsoring Agency: ICAR. Note: Walk-in Interview shall be on October 16, 2006 (9:30 AM) in the above mentioned address. Age: Maximum 35 years for SRF, (Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST & Women and 3 years for OBC candidates).
