With expected additional capacity going on stream from Hydro, Thermal and Wind, the total capacity is slated to be 5000 MW by 2014. The group has also entered the transmission business. As part of related diversification, the group has been granted reconnaissance permit for rare earch material in MP, besides making foray in Oil and Gas Exploration. Real Estate: Jaypee Greens, the real estate division of the group has embarked upon the creation of a mixed-use gold-centric land development comprising Residential, Commercial and Recreational facilities at Greater Noida.
