Junior Engineer (Civil)

Region / Hospital: ESI Hospital, Rohini. No of Posts: 01. a. Qualification: For Junior Engineers- Diploma in Civil / Electrical Engineering from Recognised Institutions. Only retired persons who have served as JEs or above at the time of their retirement from Central/State/Public Sector Undertaking are eligible. b. Maximum Age: 64 years as on 30.06.2007. c. Duration of the Engagement: The contractual appointment will be for one year initially, extendable upto 3 years based on performance. The selected candidate can be engaged upto 3 years or up to the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier. The selected candidate will have to sign an agreement with ESIC. d. Remuneration and other conditions: Remuneration shall be fixed at Rs 10,000/- per month for JEs and Rs 15,000/- per month for AEs respectively (consolidated). In addition, they will be allowed TA/DA for tour undertaken for official work at rates applicable to regular AE/JEs. Other perks/benefits such as HRA, CCA, Trasnport Allowance, Medical Reimbursement are not admissible. They will be entitled for a maximum of one day leave for every month of completed services in addition to Government Holidays. No other leave with pay will be payable.

Selection Process: The selection will be though personal interview. Interested persons fulfilling the above mentioned eligibility criteria should submit an application on plain paper with their latest photo and information in personal particulars, academic records and professional experience along with attested copies of all relevant Certificates so as to reach to the Regional Director, to the above mentioned address on or before 17.08.2007. Incomplete applications and applications received after the last date will be rejected. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Merely fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualificaitons and experience will not vest any right on a candidate being called for inerview. Since it may not be possible to call all the candidates for interview the applications will be shortlisted for the purpose. The decision of ESIC will be final. The Corporation will not entertain any correspondence in this respect. Interim queries will not be attended to.
