Applications are invited for the post of Publicatio Assistant on temporary basis in the pay scale of Rs 5500-175-9000. Qualifications required as under: Essential: 1. Graduation or equivalent qualification. 2. Diploma in Printing OR Five years experience in a printing press or a publishing house or a Government undertaking concerned with book publishing. 3. Knowledge of various processes of printing and book pulication. 4. Good knowledge of one or more languages and literatures with ability to handle literary materials. 5. Basic knowledge of computer applications. Age Limit: 30 years. Note 1: Relaxable up to a maximum of five years in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes and those working in Govt / Automous organization. Note 2: The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India. The post is unreserved and is at present at Regional Office - Mumbai but the incumbent is liable to be transferred anywhere in India.
