FHI is seeking passionate and committed professionals for the Senior Technical Officer position for Balasahyoga programme to be implemented with the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI) and CARE / India in Andra Pradesh with support from Children Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF). Ability to work in a team, excellent oral and written and verbal communication skills in English and computer proficiency is essential. Prior exposure to HIV/AIDS related work desirable. Ability to travel up to 50% of time is essential.

Senior Technical Officer

The Senior Technical Officer will report to the Director, AP programs and support in developing the technical capacity of Implementing Partners (IPs) and other key stakeholders at the state and district in HIV prevention, care and treatment areas in Andhra Pradesh. The incumbent will provide techical assistance and capacity building to IPs in technical areas, reviews, updates and/or develops technical guidelines, tools and documents, participate in periodic review, documentation and evaluation of project and implements QA/QI in all activities of Balasahyoga. This position is based in Hyderabad. Desired Profile: Public health specialist with experience in HIV care, support and treatment issues, especially pediatric AIDS. Should experience in working on community based health programs relating to HIV/AIDS. Compensation: Compensation levels at FHI are equivalent to market rates within the development sector. However, offers shall be based on salary history, relevant experience and qualifications. Selected candidates will be required to join within one month of selection.
