Director (Programmes)

Category: Project Management

The Director (Programmes) is expected to lead & support the key strategies of The Hunger Project for (1) Facilitating the leadership for women, (2) Making Panchayats Effective, (3) Building Alliances for Advocacy and Action, & (4) Influencing Public Opinion, and provide support to our state level teams involving extensive travel in 14 States of India. We need a professional within the age group of 40 to 50 years, having Master's Degree in Social Sciences, with at least 15 years' experience in national and international NGOs, of which preferably five years should be in similar capacity. The professional is expected to be well-vesed in interpersonal skills, able to guide the team in drawing up programmes, provide leadership in financial analysis, and capable of hold donors.

Media Officer

Category: Media

The Media Officer is expected to lead & support the Strategy of Influencing Public Opinion. The potential candidate should have initiative, creativity, writing skills, and ability to create networks with the Media constituencies. This person will also assit the team leader in fundraising activities, and provide support at THP Events. We need professional within the age group of 25 to35 years, having Master's Degree in Mass Communication, with atleast 5 years' experience of working with the print media.

Programme Officer

Category: Liaison

The Programme Officer is expected to support the key strategies of The Hunger Project and work in liaison with our state level teams involving extensive travel. We need a professional within the age group of 25 to 35 years, having Master's Degree in Social Sciences, with at least 5 years' experience in a similar capacity.

Administrative Assistant

Category: Administration

The Administrative Assistant is expected to be trained in office management, well-versed in computer operation, strong in written and spoken English to be able to generate communications independently. The candidate should preferably be male commerce graduate, within the age group of 25 to 30 years, with at least 5 years experience in a similar capacity.

The remuneration package will compare with the best in the NGO sector and will not be a constraint for deserving candidate.
