C-DOT, set up by the Government as an autonomous telecom technology researdh & development centre has significantly contributed to the growth of indigenous telecom technologies and has enjoyed a prime status in the telecom sector. Over the last few years it is reorienting its research to the fast changing technology scenario and opne market competition. It is now developing that telecom solutions in-house and also with world class strategic partners. Published On: 18/04/2007 RegistrarCategory: Administration The Registrar of C-DOT who acts as secretary to the Governing Council, the Steering Committee and the Board is also responsible for various functions of the centre including personnel, administration and employee services related to the working of professionals, health and welfare services, maintenance of the premises and property of the centre, procedures and process of HRD functions like recruitment, training, skill development, placement of performance management, Legal and contractual matters. Qualifications and Experience: The applicant should have at least First Class professional post graduate qualification in Personnel Management (or equivalent) from a recognized institute and at least 15 years of professional experience in the areas mentioned above. The applicant should be highly competent, people-focused motivating individual with exceptional inter-personal and communication skills to interact with professional workforce and external agencies. Age: Not exceeding 50 years as on 30th April, 2007. Pay Scale, Perquisites & Benefits: The post carries salary at the Government of India pay scale of Rs 16,400-450-20,000.
