Minsitry of Rural Development invitest applications from officers under the Central Govt to fill up Two posts of Economic Officer in the pay scale of Rs 6500-200-10500/- on ad-hoc deputation basis. Eligibility Conditions: (a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis. OR (ii) with 6 years' regular service in posts in the pay scale of Rs 5000-150-8000/- or equivalent, and (b) (i) Possessing a Master's Degree with Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a recognized university or equivalent: and (ii) Two years' experience in collection, compilation, analysis and interpretion of economic data. 3. The ad-hoc deputation period initially is for one year extendable to a maximum of 3 years on year to year basis. Department Officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be considered.
