The candidate must have outstanding editing and written skils, and some team leadership experience. The applicant must be self motivated, deadline driven, have sound general knowledge, be welll road and preferably be a post-graduate. Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience of book and journal editing. | Assistant EditorCategory: Editor You will be responsible for handling the permissions process of major works projects, which entails extensive correspondence work and updating of data sheets. The candidate must be good at English, be methodical, have an eye for detial and have the ability to work fairly independently. | For all these posts preference will be given to those with experience in the book publishing industry and who are familiar with MS office applications. Salary will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
