Name of the Project and PI: "tudy to investigate the causes of variations between official and trade estimates" funded by Directorate of Economics& Statistics, Department of Agriculture & Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture. PI - Dr Tauqueer Ahmad. Duration: One year and nine months (21 months) or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier. Qualifications: Essential: MSc in Agricultural Statistics/Statistics/Applied Statistics/Computer Application/MCA or equivalent Master degree. Desirable: (i) Working knowledge of Computer/programming languages. (ii) Working knowledge of Statistical packages like SPSS, SAS etc (iii) Experience of data collection work. Date and Time of Interview: 21.03.2007 at 10:00 AM. Emoluments: Consolidated Rs 8000/- per month + HRA @ 30%. Age limit: 35 years as on date of interview. (Age relaxation of 5 years for sC/ST/Women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates).

Interested candidates are required to appear for Walk-in-Intervew on the date and time as specified in Room No 106, Training Cum Administrative Block of the Institute along with their application giving biodata with attestesd copies of testimonials and one passport size photograph. Original certificates need to be produced at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
