The GMR led consortium has been given the mandate to finance, design, build, operate and maintain the Delhi Airport. The first stage of development for buildinga world class airport is underway. At the end of first phase in 2010, the airport will be able to cater to 37 million passengers per annum. The mission is to eventually enhance capacity to handle 100 million passengers per annum.
