Applications are invited for the post of Editor (English) in the pay scale of Rs 10000-325-15200 to be filled up on deputation / transfer basis from the Govt Departments, Autonomous Organizations to undertakings under the Central Government Qualifications required are as under: Essential: 1. Post Graduate Degree in English Literature from a recognized University. 2. Should be a person of proven literary ability. 3. Fairly good knowledgeof Indian Literature and good contacts with the literary community. 4. Five years' experience in editing literary journals and publications in English. 5. Good knowledge of one or more Indian languages besides English. Desirable: 1. Research/Doctoral Degree in English literature 2. Degree/Diploma in Journalism 3. Experience in Research/published papers/works 4. Experience Literary Translation 5. Basic knowledge of Computer application. The post is unreserved and is at present at the Head Office but the incumbent is liable to be transferred any where in India. The post carries usual allowances and benefits admissible under rules.
