School of Physical Sciences: Assistant Professor in Mathematics

Prospective candidates should have PhD in relevant area with at least 10 years experience in teaching and research. Specialization in Computational Biology, Optimization, Data Mining, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. In addition, candidates with specialization in any area of Information Technology with applications in Natural or Social Sciences are encourage to apply. The candidates must ahve demonstrated capabilities in terms of research publications in high impact journals/international conference proceedings or related experience in industrial and commercial selling.

School of International Studies: Associate Professor in Central Asian Studies

Centre for South, Central, South East Asian & South West Pacific South West Pacific Studies. (i) Specialization in Modern/Contemporary Chinese Central Asia (ii) Adequate publications and research expertise in the related field. (iii) Fairly good knowledge of Chinese/Tibetan/Mongolian Language.

General: The University reserves the right to: (a) Offer the post at a level lower than that advertised, depending upon the qualifications, experience and performance of the candidate, relax any of the requirements: (b) draw up a panel against the possible vacancies expected during the year (c) consider the applications received after the last date (d) consider "in-absentia" the candidature of those who may not have applied, may have applied but are not able to appear for the interview (e) relax any of the qualifications/experience at its discretion, and (f) not to fill up any of the advertised positions. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitile candidates to be called for interview.
