5. SeniorTechnical Assistant (One)

Category: Information Technology

Upto 28 years of age at a fixed salary of Rs 9,570/- pm. Qualifications: BTech (Computer Sci/IT) or MCA (1st Division). Desirable: Experience in (i) Computer Programming, Pagemaker, Adobe Photoshop, Corel draw, (ii) Website kdesigning. Job Requirement: Computer programming, pagemaking, website designing, computerisation of data, designing coverpages/brochures etc.

6. DTP Assistant (One)

Category: Publishing/Printing

Upto 28 years of age at a fixed salary of Rs 7,830/- pm. Qualifications: (i) Graduate, (ii) Post-graduate diploma in Book Publishing (book production) or printing technology. Desirable: 2 years experience. Job Requirement: To assist in production/printing of monographs, liaison with printing press etc.

General Information/Instructions: The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The maximum duration of the positions 1,2,3,5 & 6 is upto 30.11.2006 and for position 4 it is 31.1.2008. The appointment is terminable with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason. The selected candidate will have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR. Benefits of Provident Fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession etc are not admissible. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview, joining of termination of the services. Age upper limit is as on 1.9.2006. Age relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC as per rules. Candidates possessing experience in work relating to medicinal plants/natural products shall be preferred. Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Post 4 to 6: September 2, 2006. Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Those appearing for personal discussion should bring alongwith them. (i) Six copies of bio-dat, (ii) Certificates and testimonials in original and one attested copy each of the certificates and testimonials. Candidates reporting between 9:00 AM and 12:00 noon only shall be interviewed.
