Electrical Engineering (Hydro)Category: Engineering Experience in SLD for EHV Switchyard, GIS, MV and LV Switchgears & its specifications, transformers, bus ducts and it's arrangement layouts, cable sizing, voltage drop checks and auxiliary power supplies. The incumbent should also possess a good knowledge in system studies, load flow studies and short circuit calculations with exposure in sizing for transformers, battery, DG sets, cable selection, relay protection and coordination and synchronizing schemes. | 30. Piping (Hydro)Category: Engineering Experience in piping detailed design of Power Plant including routing, isometric drawings, BOQ calculation and standards. Experience in power plant and proficiency in CAD tools like AutoCad will be preferred. | 31. Plant General Arrangement and Layout (Hydro)Category: Engineering Experience in Arrangement & Piping Design. You should have good knowledge of Arrangement / Foundation / Civil Guide / Piping Design / Structures / Anchorage Design, Codes & Standards. Exposure to power plant design will be added advantage. | 32. Machine Shop Planning (Hydro)Category: Engineering Experience in Planning and Scheduling of Machine Shop using Prima Vera / MS Projects / SAP ERP Package. You need to carry out monthly progress reporting of all projects in manufacturing using extensive knowledge of MS Office. You must conduct planning meetings, exhibit team work and good decision making, monitor loading of machine shop & assembly shop. You need to ensure On Time Delivery and Quality of the Products by Proactive Planning & Follow Up with Sourcing and Engineering for Manufacturing Inputs. | Positions 1 to 26 are based at New Delhi, positions 27 to 43 based at Vadadara and positions 44 to 51 based at Kolkata. The Incumbent may be required to travel overseas to acquire skills / knowledge on various world-class systems and tools at our ALSTOM offices or at Project Sites.
