Procurement (Boiler and Boiler Retrofit)Category: Engineering Experience of handling procurement activities for different packages of the project related to Boiler business of the company. The work shall involve procurement contract preparation, negotiation, techno commercial vendor evaluation, preparation of tender documents, vendor negotiation and development, procruement order follow up, post delivery support and contract closing. You shall be required to plan and monitor progress of the order, prepare and update drawing schedules and manufacturing schedules, organize progress review meetings with vendors, and expediting actions to the supplier's premises during execution, organize dispatches and follow up transport, review contract documents, manage payments, claims management, ensure continued support from the vendor after delivery to site, manage contract closing. Experience of import and export procedures and regulations will be an added advantage. | 26. Field Commissioning (Boiler and Boiler Retrofit)Category: Engineering Mechanical engineer with experience in boiler erection/commissioning and design engineering. You will be responsible for the planning and/or preparation and execution of the commissioning, operation, trial run and acceptance testing within the scope of work associated to the assigned project, the technical safety of the plant from turnover erection until hand over the customer (PAC), co-ordination with all partners, implementation of business/EHS policies, safety procedures, work instructions and guidelines within the operational scope. | 27. Mechanical/Electrical BOP (Hydro)Category: Engineering Graduate Mechanical/Electrical Engineers with 20 years of experience in respective field: Knowledge of conceptual and basic design in balance of plant/power plant. The incumbent should have at least 5 years experience in technical management and developing team in a similar position. You shall report directly to Head of Engineering. You will be involved in budgeting, resource management, developing of technical expertise in project teams. The incumbent should be self driven, with good decision making, leadership skills and should be able to work in international environment. You should have strong technical skill and should be able to devleop technical expertise in the group. | 28. Mechanical Engineering (Hydro) Category: Engineering Experience in concept and / or basic & detailed engineering in balance of plant area for cooling water system, drainage & dewatering system, compress air system, HVAC, EOT Cranes etc. The incumbent should be able to perform design calclations. equipment sizing, selection of system, instrument and equipments, preparation of specifications, with knowledge of developing operation logics, piping and instrumentation diagrams. | Positions 1 to 26 are based at New Delhi, positions 27 to 43 based at Vadadara and positions 44 to 51 based at Kolkata. The Incumbent may be required to travel overseas to acquire skills / knowledge on various world-class systems and tools at our ALSTOM offices or at Project Sites.
