Non Pressure Parts (Boiler and Boiler Retrofit)Category: Engineering Experience in designing / drawing preparation of milling systems, ducts & its supports, structures, galleries, platforms, stairways and steel chimneys for boilerl upto 250 MW capacity range. You will be responsible for design, preparation, checking, review and approval of drawings for non-pressure parts and structures. You should have thorough knowledge and working experience with STAAD Pro / X-Steel / PDS / PDMS software and Indian / International codes. | 22. Fuel Firing / Milling Systems (Boiler and Boiler Retrofit)Category: Engineering Experience in system design of fuel firing system of coal fired boilers or Gas/Oil firing systems of Boiler. You will be responsible for coal/gas/oil firing system design, preparation and checking of coal/gas/oil piping layouts and isometrics, preparation and checking of the burners / wind box drawings for both corner and wall fired boilers. You will also be responsible for preparation of specification, evaluation of offers, review of vendor drawings for bought out items in fuel firing area. You should be thorough with Indian and International standards. | 23. Project Scheduling / Planning (Boiler and Boiler Retrofit)Category: Engineering Experience in planning and scheduling in boiler industry using relevant software such as prima vera P3 planner etc. for generating networks and project schedules and should have proficiency in WBS, Resource Planning, EV Mgmt System, S-Curves & Cash Flow etc for monitoring of project progress and generating MIS. | 24. Engineering Quality (Boiler and Boiler Retrofit)Category: Engineering Experience in Engineering Design of Boiler and HRSG systems with knowledge of engineering processes from bid stage through contract close out. Having a green belt in six sigma shall be an added advantage. You will be responsible for improving existing and developing new engineering processes and systems. You will also provide guidance in documenting, monitoring and analyzing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics and other performance indicators as a basis for identifying and addressing project execution problems.
| Positions 1 to 26 are based at New Delhi, positions 27 to 43 based at Vadadara and positions 44 to 51 based at Kolkata. The Incumbent may be required to travel overseas to acquire skills / knowledge on various world-class systems and tools at our ALSTOM offices or at Project Sites.
