Published On: 03/01/2007 17. Piping (Boiler and Boiler Retrofit)Category: Engineering Experience in layouts and analysis of power plant piping in the capacity range up to 250 MW. You should have thorough knowledge / experience of ANSI, BS or other applicable Indian / International codes and working experience on software like CAESAR II. You should have experience in dynamic / EQ analysis of piping. Experience in PDS / PDMS will be preferred. You will be responsible for preparation of piping layouts & isometrics, analysis and pipe support design of power plant piping. | 18. Piping Design PDMS (Boiler and Boiler Retrofit)Category: Engineering Experience in Piping Design on Plant Design Management System (PDMS). The incumbent should have working knowledge of various modules of PDMS (Equipment, Piping, Draft and Isodraft) and exposure to Catalogues and Specification. | 19. Strucutural Design (Boiler and Boiler Retrofit)Category: Engineering Experience in designing structures of Boilers / HRSG's and auxiliaries upto 250 MW. You should have sound working experience on STAADPro/X-Steel. You will be responsible for designing, reviewing and checking drawings of structures. You should have thorough knowledge and experience with Indian / International Standards. | 20. Pressure Parts (Boiler and Boiler Retofit_Category: Engineering Experience in design, preparation, checking of drawings for various pressure parts, slings and buckstays of boilers upto 250 MW capacity range. Experience in CE/Babcock or CFBC design boilers will be an added advantage. You will be responsible for preparation, checking and reviewing drawings of pressure parts, slings and buckstays of boiler. You will also be responsible for stress analysis and design calculations as per IBR/applicable codes and standards. | Positions 1 to 26 are based at New Delhi, positions 27 to 43 based at Vadadara and positions 44 to 51 based at Kolkata. The Incumbent may be required to travel overseas to acquire skills / knowledge on various world-class systems and tools at our ALSTOM offices or at Project Sites.
