Research Associate (One - reserved for OBC)Category: Research & Development Below 40 years of age (below 42 years in case of female candidate) at a fixed salary of Rs 11,500/- pm + HRA. Qualifications: MD/PhD in Pharmacology. Desirable: (i) Experience in working on medicinal plants/natural products, (ii) Flair for scientific writing, preparation of reviews, reports, monographs, (iii) Working knowledge in computers. Job Requirements: Literature search, retrieval and dissemination of information, preparation of reviews/monographs relating to medicinal plants/products etc. | 2. Senior Research Fellow (Two) Category: Research & Development Below 35 years of age at a fixed salary of Rs 9,5000/- pm + HRA. Qualifications: MSc (Botany/Chemistry/Medicinal Plants/Pharmacology) with 2 years experience or MPharma. Desirable: (i) Experience in literature search, retrieval, scientific writing, (ii) Diploma/Degree in computer applications. Job Requirements: Literature search, retrieval and dissemination of information, preparation of reviews/monographs relating to medicinal plants/products etc. | 3. Research Assistant (One)Category: Research & Development Upto 28 years of age at a fixed salary of Rs 7,830/- pm. Qualifications:MSc in Chemistry/Botany/Computer Science or BPharma with atleast one year experience in computer applications. Desirable: (i) Diploma/Certificate (1 Year) in computer applications from a reputed institution, (ii) Archiving of documents. Job Requirements: Literature search, computerisation, scanning/archiving of scientific information etc. | 4. Programme Associate (One_Category: Pharmacy Upto 35 years of age at a fixed salary of Rs 11,319/- pm. Qualifications: Post-graduate degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Botany. Desirable: (i) 2 years experience in programme concerning Standards of Medicinal Plants, (ii) Literature search. Job Requirement: Scrutiny of monographs, preparation of indices/appendices, literature search, documentation etc. | General Information/Instructions: The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The maximum duration of the positions 1,2,3,5 & 6 is upto 30.11.2006 and for position 4 it is 31.1.2008. The appointment is terminable with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason. The selected candidate will have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR. Benefits of Provident Fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession etc are not admissible. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview, joining of termination of the services. Age upper limit is as on 1.9.2006. Age relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC as per rules. Candidates possessing experience in work relating to medicinal plants/natural products shall be preferred.
