Process Engineering (Plants)Category: Engineering Mechanical Engineers with experience relating to steam and combined cycle power plant in design calculations, equipment sizing, selection of system and equipments with knowledge of developing operation logics, piping and instrumentation diagrams. The incumbent should possess an understanding of tender support work for main power block as well as for balance of points. | 2. Mechanical Engineering (Plants)Category: Engineering Experience in concept and / or basic & detailed engineering in the main plant area (Power Block) of a steam and / or combined cycle power plant or in balance of plant area. The incumbent should be able to develop equipment specification / design adn sizing criteria for various systems and equipment in the mian plant. | 3. Piping Plant Arrangement (Plants)Category: Engineering Experience in piping detailed design of power plant including critical piping systems, stress analysis, hanger engineering and arrangement knowledge of equipment, building & piping systems. | 4. PDMS Modeling (Plants)Category: Engineering Experience in piping design on plant design management system (PDMS). The incumbent should have working knowledge of various modules of PDMS (equipment, piping, draft and isodraft) and exposure to catalogues and specification. | Positions 1 to 26 are based at New Delhi, positions 27 to 43 based at Vadadara and positions 44 to 51 based at Kolkata. The Incumbent may be required to travel overseas to acquire skills / knowledge on various world-class systems and tools at our ALSTOM offices or at Project Sites.
