Published On: 09/02/2011 HOD (Electrical & Instrumentation) - Power PlantCategory: Electrical The candidate has to be a qualified BE / BTech instrumentation or electronics alternatively Electrical Engineer with minimum post qualification experience of 12-15 years and currently should be working as a HOD in Thermal Power Plant for minimum time period of three years. The candidate will be required to ensure safe and smooth operations of Electrical & monitor electrical and instrumentation system and responsible for maintenance activity as per standard operating procedures & practices of all high & low voltage switchgear, generators, electrical drives, motors, DCS, PLC, SCADA, power plant turbine & boiler field instruments. He will control and monitor key performance indicator and ensure availability of spares.Identify and implement energy conservation measures and plant operations Carry on improvement activities for electrical and instrumentation. Coordinate with other departments, vendor and OEM, as well as providing training for improvement and development of electrical and instrumentation team.
