Delhi JobsAzim Premji Foundation has a clear social purpose - to facilitate a just, equitable, humane and sustainable society. After having worked towards improving the quality of school education in collaboration with several state Governments for over ten years, the Foundation will now expand its reach and intensity across India. This will be done through multiple initiatives, including the establishment of Azim Premji University (a talent pool of change leaders who will make real difference to society and create relevant, useful knowledge), the opening of Demonstration Schools in multiple districts, the establishment of Institutes at State and District levels (to proactively engage at the field level, including capacity building of existing practitioners and educational institutions) and by creating a demand for quality education by setting up an Institute for Assessment and Accreditation for schools and other institutions.
