Programme Manager / Director – Healthcare (Vacancy – 1)

Policy and Analysis Cell. Salary Structure: Rs 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs/annum. Educational Background: The candidate should be Msc / Mtech / MVSc in Applied Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Medical Microbiology / Biochemistry or MBBS with first class in post-graduation. Desirable: PhD (MBA would be an added qualification). Preferred Areas of Specialization: Immunology / Molecular Biology & Genetics, and a know how of Vaccine / Diagnostic services / Product Development / Product Development / pre clinical – clinical research. Experience: 2 to 5 years relevant experience in techno economic evaluation of projects in Industry or Research Institutes and also hands on experience in technology transfer, technology appraisal, regulation and intellectual property issues. Standford India Biodesign Project: The main objective of the programme is to train next generation of medical technology innovators in India. The focus of the programme is on invention and early-stage development of low cost new medical technologies. Salary Structure: Rs 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs / annum. Job Description: Job responsibilities will include management and supervision of overall activities of biodesign programme including technology transfer and scaling up and also to coordinate with partnering agencies. He / She shall also be responsible for organizing meetings related to the programme and responsible for coordinating activities related to transfer of biomedical technologies, protection of intellectual properties, licensing and other legal agreements.
