Vacancy : One. Scale of Pay: Rs 14300-18300. Classification: GCS Group 'A' Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. Field of Selection: Officers under the Central/State Govts/UTs/Autonomous Bodies of Govt Academic Institutions: Organizations. a) i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or ii) with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment threreto on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs 12000-16500 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department or iii) with ten years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay Rs 10000-15200 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department or iii) with ten years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs 10000-15200 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department, and b) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience. Essential: i) Post-Graduate degree in Animal Welfare or Veterinary/Animal Sciences or Sciences with specialisation in Animal Ecology/Wildlife management or Law with specialization in Animal Law/Jurisprudence. ii) 10 years experience in teaching, research, administraiton, accounts and coordination. Desirable: Doctorate Degree/Post Graduate diploma in Management. "Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post hold immediately prceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department of the Central Govt shall ordinarily not to exceed four years". The maximum age limit for appointment by Deputation (STC) shall be not exceeding 56 years' as on the closing date of receipt of applications".

Assistant Professor (Animal Breeding)

Vacancy: One. Scale of Pay: Rs 8000-13500/-. Classification: GCS Group 'A' Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. Field of Selection: Officers under the Central/State Govts/UTs/Autonomous Bodies or Govt Academic Institutions: Organizations: a) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department, or b) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience: Essential: Master's degree in Animal Breeding with at least 55% of the marks or, an equivalent with at least 55% of the marks or, an equivalent grade of 'B' in the 7 points scale with later grades O, A, B, C, D, E and F from a recognized University or equivalent. Experience: At least 3 years experience in teaching and research in the relevant field of specialization. Desirable: PhD in relevant subject. Note (i): Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the eligibility test(NET) for lecturer conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. Note (ii): Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department of the Central Govt. shall ordinarily not exceed four years". The maximum age limit for appointment by Deputation (ISTC) shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
