Applications on the prescribed form are invited for the post of Registrar (on tenure basis for five years) in the Pay Scale of Rs 37,400-67,000 with GP of Rs 10,000/- pm so as to reach the Offg Registrar latest by 31.10.2009. Qualification for the post of Registrar, JMI. Essential: i) A Master's degree with at last 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale. ii) At least 15 years of experience as Lecturer (Sr Scale) / Lecturer with 8 years in Reader's grade along with experience in educational administration OR Comparable experience in research establishments and/ or other institutions of higher education OR 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Dy Registrar or an equivalent post. Knowledge of Hindi and Urdu is desirable. Note: The appointment of Registrar shall be for a tenure of 5 years which can be renewed for similar term or upto 62 years of age, whichever is earlier.
