The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI)

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), New Delhi is a statutory body set up under an Act of parliament viz. the TRAI Act, 1997. TRAI proposes to prepare a panel of Engineers for its Networks divisions on deputation on foreign service basis initially for a period of two years. Principal Advisor

Qualification/Experience: Officers of the Central/State Govt/PSUs (i) holding equivalent post on regular basis or (ii) Officers in SAG with 4 years of regular service in that grade or (iii) Group 'A' officers having 21 years of regular service in Gr. 'A' of which at least 4 years shall be in the SAG. Essential Qualification: Bachelors degree in Electronics and/or Telecommunication Engineering. Scale of Pay: Rs 22,400-525-24,500/ Rs 18400-500-22400 plus allowances such as DA, HRA, CCA etc. as per Govt Rules.

Scale of Pay: Rs 22,400-525-24,500/ Rs 18400-500-22400 plus allowances such as DA, HRA, CCA etc. as per Govt Rules.

TRAI has been exempted from the rule of immediate absorption upto 23.01.2011 by Department of Pension & Pensioner's Welfare for appointment on deputation. Eligible candidates may send their application in the prescribed proforma (to be obtained from the office of TRAI) in an envelope superscribing the post applid fr through proper channel along with attested copies of ACR for the last five years and vigilance clearance so as to reach the Joint Advisor (A&P), Telecom Regulatory Authority of India on or before 22nd December, 2006.
