No of Post: One (Unreserved). Scale of Pay: Rs 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs 1800/-. Qualifications: 1. Middle School Certificate (8th class), Matriculation preferred. 2. 3 years Diploma in binding with at least 3 years practical experience of high class binding work, manual binding or repair, handling of rare fragile manuscripts in a commercial or Government Press. 3. At least one year experience of binding and mending in a Govt or a private press. 4. Recruitment to be made on the basis of practical test. Place of Posting: National Archives of India, Record Centre, Eastern Region, Bhubaneshwar. Age: Between 18-25 years (Relaxable for Government servants upto 35 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government). SC/ST and OBC will be given age relaxation as per rules. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India (other than those in Andaman Islands and Lakshadweep).

(b) In respect of applications received only by post from the candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti district and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands or Lakshadweep, the last date for receipt of application should be within 45days from the date of publication.
