He would be required to oversee and manage the overall working of the units, formulate and implement strategic initiatives, including expansion, modernisation and restructuring within the organization under the direct supervision and guidance of the working directors. He will be based at Shamli, District Muzuffarnagar. Experience: The candidate must have 25-30 years of relevant experience with 8-10 years of experience as Head of the organization. He must have a thorough understanding of the corporate side of the business and all relevant functional areas, including manufacturing, finance, commercial and applicable laws related to the sugar and distillery business. He should have the ability to lead a team of professionals, and liaise with government officials, bankers, farmers and labour unions. An understanding of taxation laws, project finance and co-generation will be an added advantage. He must have a thorough working knowledge of all the functional area of distillery operations including manufacturing, human resources, quality assurance, ethanol production, bottling operations, finance, commercial and general administration. He must be fully conversant and updated with all related laws, regulations and pollution control procedures and also be capable to liaise with government officials and labour unions.
