Sports Coaches - Squash - 2

This department intends to appoint 53 sports coaches, purely on contract basis, for an initial period of one year on the given terms and conditions. The selected coaches can be posted in various sports stadium / complexes / centers of this department all over Delhi and transferable throughout Delhi during the entire contract period. They will be governed by the departmental Rules as applicable for coaches on contract basis and will not confer any right of absorption or appointment on regular basis. Salary: Consolidated salary Rs 10,000/- per month for working six days a week. Essential Qualification: Diploma in coaching from Sports Authority of India / Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports or from any other recognized Indian Foreign University. OR Participation in Olympic/Asian Games/World Championship with Certificate Course in Coaching. Desirable: BPEd. Duty Timings: 6:30 AM to 9:30 PM & 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Terms and Conditions for Appointment of Coaches on contract basis: 1. He/She has to be a graduate with NIS diploma in the discipline applied for or He/She should have participated in Olympic / Asian Games / World Championship with Certificate Course in Coaching. 2. He/She has done the work of a coach ie. talent search and imparting training to the sports persons. 3. He/She will be paid remuneration of Rs 10,000/- per month for working on six days a week. (Excluding 2nd Saturday, Sunday, National and Gazetted holidays). 4. The period of appointment will be maximum for one year wef the date of joining duty. 5. He/She will be entitled to avail casual leave for 8 days in a calendar year. 6. If he/she is required to proceed on tour on official duty he/she will be entitled to TA/DA as admissible under the normal rules. 7. The appointment can be terminated at one month notice from either side. 8. He/She will not be entitled to the facilities like reimbursement of Medical expenses and Leave Travel Concession. 9. The appointment does not bestow any right upon the coach for regular appointment in Department of Education.

The interested applicants may send their applications, on plain paper, to the above mentioned address along with the bio-data giving Name, Date of Birth, Communication Address, Caste Certificate (if belongs to SC/ST/OBC), Educational Qualification, Professional Qualification, Experience if any and one passport size photograph. Attested copies of the testimonials are to be enclosed with the application. A self declaration to the effect that applicant is not facing any enquiry, investigation, case departmental or other proceeding in relation to any criminal offence or allegation of moral turpitude and/or has not been convicted / held guilty by any court of Authority in this behalf is also to be enclosed. Any false declaration, concealment or misleading information / particulars, will render the appointment invalid. Department of Education reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason thereof.
